Busy weekend. Boy (8) had 1st holy communion stuff (his mom’s desire) and then we had baseball, little league and big league (Giant’s lost!).

It was brutally hot yesterday. And, we were in the sun in the bleachers for most of it. AT&T Park is pretty awesome though. We had a great view of the bay (and the babes). We saw an amazing pitcher who was given his first start on the day that we (& espn) saw the game. Unfortunately, Tim lychecom (however he spells it!) and his 98 mph fastball gave up 2 homers and put the Giants in a tough hole that they couldn’t get out of, thanks to some really poor relief pitching.

Ah well, another one of the books….

Well, I am going to try this again. I need to vent. I need to rant. I do vent. I do rant. I just kept forgetting to do it here.

My big rant of the moment, ignoring the massive amounts of political corruption going on for a second, is the spam that this little blog received over the last couple of months. Since I forgot to come up here and check on how things were going, I hadn’t really noticed the spam. Fortunately, I have (Netfirms has) spam software for their blogs to catch it. Piled up in my spam collecting area were 1400 spam comments. These were blatant spam thinking that they could get on my blog by saying sh** like ‘great blog’! Isn’t that pathetic. I traced a ton of them to one IP address, but don’t know what I can do about that. I just wanted to rant at spam. I know, controversial, huh?
